Holiday Tree Hunt - People's Place of Ulster County

A Fun & Free Holiday Event!

Think scavenger hunt, holiday tree viewing, and shopping local! We asked participating businesses to decorate a tree and feature it in their establishment, and 60 local businesses answered the call. We have produced over 5,000 event guides, listing participating philanthropic establishments.

Holiday Tree Hunt Guides will be distributed to each participating location. Holiday Tree Hunters will travel to locations listed within their Holiday Tree Hunt Guide and ask the business to “stamp” their corresponding business space on the guide. Once the required corresponding stamps are collected, the Holiday Tree Hunt Guide can be dropped off at People’s Place to be entered to win one of the gift certificates donated by our 60 participating businesses. The Tree Hunt will run from November 24^th – December 19^th.

Our hope is that not only will this event help People’s Place raise much needed funds to operate, but be a holiday gift to everyone. It will introduce businesses and community members who may not have otherwise met. We think it's a real win-win for Ulster County!
